The electromagnetic radiation in the microwave oven frequency range ‘are absorbed by water, fats, sugars, and certain other molecules, whose consequent vibrations produce *heat*. Similar to microwave ovens which generate radiation at a frequency of about 2.45GHz (the microwave energy is converted to thermal energy by causing water molecules to flip back and forth some 2.45 billion times a second), the 60 GHz used by the 5G system causes water molecules to flip back and forth 60 billion times a second!
